Welcome to Middle Earth Cosplay

This is a home dedicated to all forms of cosplay inspired by the writings of J R R Tolkien. Cosplay from the Hobbit to Lord Of the Rings is accepted as well as all the other stories.

Rules and Guidelines.

All characters are accepted. Please submit to the correct race folder

OC characters are accepted. Make sure they are submitted to the correct folder according to race.

Bad quality is likely to be declined so make sure your photos clearly show your costume and are taken with good photography.

Nudity isn't accepted so will be automatically declined.

Only characters from Middle Earth/Tolkien's world will be accepted.

WIP photos are accepted but must clearly show the work in process and must be of good quality.

Event photos are accepted but mustn't have too many people in the background. Must be of good quality.

The photo must include you or give the correct credit. Stolen photos will be removed/declined and the poster banned from the group.

Submissions are unlimited but don't go crazy and upload your entire gallery.

Featured folder is for admins only. Member submissions will be declined.

Membership is open to anyone who wants to join. You don't have to have a Middle Earth costume to join. Just press the 'join' button at the top. Membership is automatically approved.

Hello everyone

I hope everyone had a fantastic time of the winter holidays. We are now into 2013 with this year being an exciting time. 'The Hobbit - The Unexpected Journey' has now been out in the cinemas since December and has inspired many a cosplayer to join the fun as Middle Earth costumers. With the film's opening there has been a release of a few books that include many an excellent reference image for the costumes. All adding to the inspiration.

I hope with this that you, like I, continue to be inspired and create more Middle Earth costumes.

I have now updated the group. You can now see submission rules on the front page. These are guidelines if you are unsure which folder to submit your image to. If you are still unsure, free feel to note the Founder or the Co-founders. Please do follow the guidelines as best you can. Please note that the 'Featured' folder is for admins only to submit to. Thank you.

If you do have any questions regarding the group do feel free to drop a note to the Founder or any of the other admins.

Thank you all for joining and do keep submitting your amazing costumes and photos.
